For the past three nights I had the great pleasure to reconnect with my good friend and fantastic organ player Kerong Chok again and play at B28 in Singapore, also with the great guitarist Andrew Lim.
It was a real treat on and off the Bandstand. We are very excited about our new album "Damon Brown meets the Resonance Trio" on 33 Records: 33jazz.com To celebrate the UK release we had a wonderful 10 day tour in England. Lots of nice music and memories were made. Check out this nice concert review by Eddie Myer from Jazzwise magazine http://www.jazzwisemagazine.com/pages/live-jazz-music-reviews/14525-damon-brown-international-quartet-with-ed-jones-deliver-hard-bop-judgements-at-the-verdict
Here are some shots from the Youngjoo Song Septet Concert at Baekham Art Hall in Seoul, featuring Alex Sipiagin, Jon Gordon, Kenji Omae and Alan Ferber with Hogyu Hwang on Bass and me on drums. It was a wonderful evening of music. Killing playing by all. We also did a TV concert for EBS the day before. Photos by Dayoung Lee.
Here are some pictures of the music video shoot for the song 'Dream' with korean pop stars Suzy and Baekhyeon. It was a lot of fun. Below you can also watch the finished video on YouTube. We shot the video back in November, but I had to wait to post the pictures until the video was officially released in January 2016.
