 Very excited about the package I just received from Mystic89. What a pleasure to have played on Korean Pop Icon YoonJongShin's latest album 'JustPiano'.
It features the stellar piano playing of Cho Yoonseung and Kim Kwangmin accompanied by bassist Hogyu Hwang and myself on drums.  We had a quick, but highly promising rehearsal today with the band of guitarist Martin Schulte. I am very much looking forward to the concerts coming up in the next few days. It's an outstanding band with NY Saxophonist Nick Biello and Hogyu Hwang on bass.
 I am flying to Krakow, Poland today to join up with the great bassist Lars Ekman and his quartet. This will be a fun project featuring the polish guitarist Rafal Sarnecki and the swedish saxophonist Magnus Dölerud. I am looking forward to the music and the hang.
 We had a wonderful concert at the Loft in Köln last night. A nice space, with a beautiful grand piano. We were joined by the great tenor saxophonist Stefan Schmid. Thanks to all who came out to see us.
The Resonance Trio will also do a recording here in cologne. Watch out for a new release featuring the wonderful compositions of Paul Kirby and Sean Pentland. |
